Job summary

CPR is seeking a Senior Security Systems Consultant to take technical ownership of physical security systems for a major rail infrastructure programme in London. You will define and govern CCTV, access control, intrusion and PSIM requirements, ensuring interfaces with other disciplines are managed and controlled across the project lifecycle.

You will develop robust technical specifications, provide assurance that design and installation meet standards, and collaborate with organisations such as

Qualifications

• Background in physical and electronic security systems within transport infrastructure.
• Experience on large, multi-disciplinary programmes with interfaces to other engineering disciplines.
• Ability to specify systems that integrate with rail operations and wider networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical specifications and standards for physical security systems.
• Manage interface control documents and associated risks across the programme.
• Assure contractor design/installation meets requirements and resolve issues.
• Engage with third-party organisations (British Transport Police, Network Rail) and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance across engineering and commercial teams.
