Job summary

Ballicom Limited is hiring a Senior PHP Developer to join our technology team in a hybrid role based in Coventry CV6 5SF. You will lead the development of scalable PHP-based web applications, collaborate on system architecture, and develop APIs to connect front-end and back-end services.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of software development experience in e-commerce or similar.
• Extensive knowledge of PHP frameworks.

• Familiar with unit testing and SDLC practices.
• Knowledge of development tools including Visual Studio, Eclipse, GitHub, and Git.
• Familiar with microservices and containerization is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, able to work in diverse teams.
• Ability to work within a team of experienced developers.
• Bachelor's degree and fluent English; right to work in the United Kingdom.

Requirements

• We require proven experience as a Senior PHP Developer or similar role, with at least five years of software development experience in e-commerce or a similar business.
• We require extensive knowledge of PHP frameworks.
