Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong knowledge of MVC frameworks and MySQL.
• Experience modernising legacy systems.
• Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS.
• AWS and Linux experience.
• Familiarity with Terraform or IaC tools.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD and automated deployments.
• Test-driven development approach.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

£60,000 | Hybrid, 2 days per week in Leamington Spa

We’re looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join an established business with technology sitting at the heart of its operation.

You’ll help modernise a business-critical digital platform, moving away from legacy code and contributing to the development of a cleaner, more scalable PHP and Laravel-based architecture.

This is a hands on development role, but you’ll also have the opportunity to influence technical direction, improve engineering standards and work closely with teams across the wider business.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and maintaining high-quality PHP and Laravel applications
• Helping modernise legacy systems and develop a future-proof platform
