Job summary

Crisis in London is seeking a Senior Philanthropy Manager to lead major donor engagement and grow our philanthropy programme. You will manage a portfolio of high-value supporters and secure transformational gifts.

• Proven experience building and developing relationships with major donors and securing five- and six-figure gifts.
• Strong track record of generating new business and managing supporters through the fundraising pipeline.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage high-net-worth individuals.

Salary

£53,437 per annum

Hybrid, London (1-2 days/week in the office)

Position

Senior Philanthropy Manager, working for Crisis, one of the UK's leading homelessness charities. Reporting to the Philanthropy Lead, this role will play a key part in driving the growth of a successful philanthropy programme, building meaningful relationships with high-value supporters and securing transformational funding.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of new and existing major donors, securing gifts at the £100,000 level and developing tailored engagement strategies that deepen support over time.
• Identify and cultivate prospective supporters, create compelling funding proposals and reports, and work closely with colleagues across the organisation to uncover funding opportunities and deliver exceptional donor experiences.
• Help shape team strategy, contribute to income growth and deputise for the Philanthropy Lead when required.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and developing relationships with major donors and prospects, securing five and six figure gifts.
• A strong track record of generating new business and successfully managing supporters through the fundraising pipeline using effective moves management techniques.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage high-net-worth individuals, develop compelling cases for support and build strong relationships across an organisation.
