Job summary

St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Deputy Lead Technical Services Technician to strengthen the Technical Services team. You will support the Lead Technician, help manage CIVAS, Cytotoxic services and PN, and contribute to high‑quality GMP‑compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Technical Services Technician to manage operational aspects of Technical Services including CIVAS, Cytotoxic services and PN in line with national standards.
• Train pharmacy technicians and assistants in Technical Services.
• Contribute to the current processes to provide a framework for actively ensuring Technical Services is run to the highest standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), in line with MHRA licensed unit requirements and Regional (SPS) QA guidance.
• Support the Pharmacy Technical Services team and the QA department in maintaining a complete and accurate Quality Management System.
