Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a Pharmacy Technician in its Technical Services department. The role focuses on aseptic dispensing, cytotoxic reconstitution and CINVAS processes, and requires strong communication to support a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with NHS experience.
• Experience in technical services and aseptic dispensing.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to work weekends at times.

Responsabilités

• Assists with managing workload and co-ordinating workflow for sterile technical services.
• Liaises with chemotherapy day unit staff to support workflow.
• Generates reports on performance, quality, safety and efficiency.
• Assists with departmental drug expenditure systems for cancer services.
• Supervises and mentors junior staff in Technical Services unit.
• Manages weekly rotas and approves annual leave in absence of Principal Technician.
• Ensures induction and ongoing training for staff, including GMP and dispensing procedures.
• Assists with training and assessment of Pre-reg Technicians and rotating Pharmacists.
