Job summary

Practice Plus Group in Lancashire is seeking a Senor Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy Team at HMP Garth. The role offers supervision of technicians, medicines management, and cross-wing collaboration within a secure environment.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday service, with shifts 7.30am–6.30pm and one weekend in four, earning £34,428–£41,658 per year depending on experience. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent.
• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD).
• Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support the development of junior staff.
• Oversea the administration and medicines management.
• Working across our primary care and substance misuse wings.
• Provide health promotion advice to our men in areas such as giving up smoking, hypertension, healthy living and other minor ailments.

Education
