Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, and ambitious Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic operational team. The post holder must be keen to learn and develop, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role is embedded within the dispensary team, supporting training and development needs. A systematic and flexible approach to working is essential.
Duties/Areas of this post include:
Applicants must hold a BTEC level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians/NVQ 3 or equivalent, be registered with the GPhC, and have previous experience supervising and training staff, including new starters, delivering local inductions, and staff development.
Support the dispensary manager and senior team with daily management, workload organization, and staff supervision.
Coordinate and deliver staff inductions and training, maintaining accurate records and updating manuals regularly.
Take on additional line manager responsibilities for junior staff members.
