An established healthcare provider is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join a dynamic operational team. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, and ambitious Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic operational team. The post holder must be keen to learn and develop, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role is embedded within the dispensary team by supporting training and development needs. Therefore, a systematic and flexible approach to working is essential.
Applicants must hold a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Previous experience in supervising and training, including new starters, delivering local inductions, and developing current staff, is required.
The role includes supporting the dispensary manager and senior pharmacy team with day-to-day management, organization of workload, and supervision of all staff. The post holder will coordinate and deliver inductions and training to all new, rotational, and permanent staff, maintaining accurate records and updating training manuals regularly.
