Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an enhanced-role Pharmacy Technician to cover the homecare team, procurement, and ward medicines. The role focuses on co-ordinating day-to-day homecare operations, governance, and staff training, with supervision duties and weekend/bank holiday rota requirements.

The post requires GPhC registration and ACPT accreditation, with hospital pharmacy experience and knowledge of procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician qualification and registration required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with ward storage audits and procurement is desirable.
• Knowledge of GDP and FMD is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate workload of the homecare team and procurement.
• Supervise colleagues in the homecare team.
• Manage day-to-day management of the homecare service and governance.
• Support recruitment and training within homecare and procurement.
• Liaise with suppliers and finance on price discrepancies and deliveries.
