Job summary
Due to investment in the pharmacy team, we are excited to announce the position of Senior Pharmacy Assistant - Procurement and Goods In. This role involves supporting the pharmacy procurement team to achieve the best value for medicines purchasing and supervising the daily operations of the team. The role is primarily desk/admin-based, with occasional support for the goods in team in the warehouse. No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.

To supervise and guide the Pharmacy Assistant Team within Procurement and Goods In, ensuring tasks such as updating contracts, managing off-contract claims, procurement, goods receipt, stock control, and documentation are completed accurately and timely. Responsibilities also include line management duties like training, rotas, absence management, and maintaining records.
