We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and dynamic individual to join our Pharmacy admin team. Working closely with our teams, our Medicines Value team, and Education, Training, Learning and Development team, the post holder will play a vital role in helping the pharmacy teams to provide the best possible service for patients within East Kent.
This post is designed to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Pharmacy Team working closely with the Medicines Value Team and Education, Training, Learning and Development team (ETLD).
The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) requires that all staff working in pharmacy are appropriately trained for the role they undertake. The post holder will support the ETLD team to ensure that the minimum training requirements are met.
To provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Pharmacy Team working closely with the Medicines Value Team (MVT) and Education, Training, Learning and Development team (ETLD).

Administrative support to the department including Drugs & Therapeutic Advisory Group and Antimicrobial Stewardship group that requires arranging meetings, minute taking, updating action logs and spreadsheets, composing letters.
Monitor generic email account; assess all enquiries received ensuring queries are appropriately actioned.
Maintain and update spreadsheets.
Support the Medicines Value Team with administrative tasks such as transfer of information onto electronic platforms, running audit reports.
Education, Training, Learning and Development (ETLD) Team duties:
• Administrative support to the ETLD department including taking minutes for our Local Faculty Group (LFG) meetings and other education-related meetings.
• Monitor generic ETLD email account ensuring queries are actioned and referred to the ETLD team.
• Maintain and update spreadsheets linked to the departmental training plan and training requirements for the department.
• Help collate data required for a monthly performance review meeting.
• Support the ETLD team with other administrative tasks including formatting newsletters, sending out invites to training sessions, making room bookings, adding requisitions to business world, and running reports.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020.
