TPF Recruitment is supporting a growing accountancy practice in Kingston, Surrey, to recruit a Tax Senior. You will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients from start to finish, delivering high-quality tax advice and building strong client relationships with a hands-on approach.

The role offers genuine autonomy, flexible working options and opportunities to influence tax processes and develop within a supportive team. ATT qualification and solid UK personal tax knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• ATT qualified or qualified by experience.
• Strong experience within personal tax in an accountancy practice.
• Confident managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients from start to finish.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and building strong relationships.
• Setting up and managing client files.
• Overseeing the preparation and submission of personal tax returns.
• Reviewing tax returns to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Providing practical income tax planning and CGT advice.
• Responding to ad hoc client tax queries.
• Managing HMRC correspondence and enquiries.
• Resolving tax issues efficiently for clients.
• Supporting development and improvement of tax processes and systems.
• Maintaining quality control across tax return preparation.
• Contributing to technical research and keeping up to date with legislation.
