Job summary

TPF Recruitment is supporting a highly reputable Sidcup-based chartered accountancy firm to recruit a Personal Tax Manager or Senior Manager. The role offers a balance of compliance and advisory work with strong client exposure and genuine long-term progression.

Responsibilities include managing client portfolios, advising on private client matters, mentoring juniors, and handling HMRC enquiries. The salary range is £50,000 to £80,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Ideally CTA and/or ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified with a personal tax career.
• Experience in an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm.
• Background likely in Top Tier to regional firms with strong compliance and planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of clients and build long-term relationships.
• Advise on private client tax matters for owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
• Review work by junior team members, including self-assessment returns and CGT computations.
• Deliver tax planning projects, including non-domicile matters and on/offshore trusts.
• Manage HMRC enquiries and liaise with stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
