Job summary

TPF Recruitment is supporting a well established and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants in Ashford with the recruitment of a Personal Tax Specialist. The role involves managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, preparing self assessment returns, and providing compliance and advisory support.

The position can be tailored around your existing experience, with scope for immediate advisory focus or training to develop advisory skills over time.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance.
• Interest in developing advisory experience.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Experience gained in an accountancy practice.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients.
• Preparing and reviewing self assessment tax returns.
• Supporting clients with tax planning matters (IHT, CGT, trusts, Estates).
• Providing personal tax compliance and advisory services.
• Building strong relationships with clients and liaising with HMRC.
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional advice and support.
• Assisting with the development of junior team members.
