Job summary

CRA Consulting is representing a respected law firm seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Fee Earner to join the claimant department. You will manage your own caseload across RTA, Employers' Liability, Public Liability, and occupiers' liability matters, with opportunities to handle more complex cases as you progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in claimant Personal Injury litigation
• Experience managing own caseload
• Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and litigation processes
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Proactive approach to file management
• Client-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Manage and progress a personal caseload of claimant PI matters.
• Investigate liability, causation and quantum.
• Advise clients on prospects, valuations and next steps in their claims.
• Draft pleadings, correspondence and legal documentation.
• Review medical evidence and obtain supporting documentation.
• Take witness evidence and prepare statements.
• Prepare schedules of loss.
• Liaise with insurers, medical experts, counsel and other parties.
• Negotiate settlements and work towards the best possible outcomes.
• Manage litigated claims, court directions and procedural deadlines.
• Assist with hearing and trial preparation where required.
