Job summary

CRA Consulting is seeking an experienced RTA Litigation Claims Handler to join its Motability claims team in Leeds. You will manage a portfolio of RTA personal injury claims, including OIC, MOJ, MIB and Fast Track matters, guiding cases from instruction to settlement while balancing liability and quantum disputes.

The role blends office and home working in a hybrid arrangement, offering a pathway to develop litigation expertise within a supportive team focused on positive outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience handling RTA personal injury claims.
• Experience with Fast Track RTA matters.
• Litigation experience in personal injury claims.
• Knowledge of OIC and MOJ processes.
• Understanding of Pre-Action Protocols and Civil Procedure Rules.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage Motability-related RTA personal injury claims.
• Handle OIC, MOJ, MIB and Fast Track processes, including complex matters.
• Progress claims from initial instruction to settlement or final resolution.
• Develop strategies for resolving liability and quantum disputes.
• Handle post-whiplash reform claims, including disputed matters.
• Provide accurate legal advice in line with procedures and policies.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver excellent service.
• Ensure claims progress efficiently within timescales.
• Work toward performance targets and quality standards.
