Salary: £34,000 plus up to 10% annual bonus

Contract: Full-time permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday

As a Senior Personal Injury Claims Handler, you will support the Personal Injury department in managing OIC/MOJ/Fast track personal injury claims. Your expertise will help develop departmental processes, train staff, and implement change to keep the team at the forefront of the industry.

What will I be doing?

• Managing claims up to £25k across all personal injury areas, following claims handling procedures and service levels
• Providing technical expertise to shape team strategy
• Conducting departmental audits to ensure best practices
• Training and coaching colleagues to maintain high technical standards
• Supporting change projects for continuous improvement
• Collaborating with internal claims teams to manage risks effectively

What do I need?

• Strong knowledge of insurance principles
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in personal injury claims
• Understanding of the motor insurance claims market and ability to use this knowledge to improve processes
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Stakeholder management skills and ability to influence
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective presentation skills
