Qualifikationen

• GCSEs for Maths and English are required.
• Overseas applicants may need an ECCTIS compatibility statement.
• Care Certificate or equivalent is required.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Care or equivalent qualification is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Collect patients from wards for theatres
• Assist with transferring patient from bed and trolleys onto operating table
• Maintain patient dignity at all times
• Offer support and reassurance during transfer
• Participate in the surgical safety checklist
• Complete circulating duties including perioperative swab counts
• Ensure equipment is maintained, cleaned and stocked
• Prepare equipment for procedures
• Demonstrate safe working practices and complete mandatory training
• Circulating duties within theatre
