OnCommerce seeks a senior, highly analytical performance marketing specialist to drive a six-month transformation. You will own analytics across Meta, Google Shopping and Affiliates, optimise segmentation and cohorts, and push profitable growth with a data-led approach.
You will work remotely within the UK, tackling large product catalogues, measuring contribution and margin, and partnering with Data Science for propensity models. Immediate impact and independent decision-making are required.
OnCommerce is a global selling platform that powers a growing network of retail channels, including:
OnCommerce is growing fast, launching new brands and scaling to power the future of ecommerce.
OnCommerce is constantly evolving. Everyone here plays a hands-on role in shaping what comes next, building brands that make an impact across global markets. There's no red tape or rigid corporate structure; just smart people taking ownership and figuring things out as we build something big together. The pace is fast, priorities shift, things aren't always perfectly set up, and you'll often need to get stuck in and solve problems. But if you thrive in that kind of environment, you'll have real influence, real ownership, and the chance to grow with a rapidly scaling business.
We're looking for a senior, highly analytical and genuinely hands-on performance marketing specialist to come into the business and drive a six-month marketing transformation.
This is not a Head of Marketing or strategic leadership role. We need an experienced operator who can get into the data, identify opportunities and wastage, and turn insight into action quickly.
There are significant opportunities across both existing and new acquisition channels, but we need much deeper analysis and optimisation.
The contractor will systematically identify:
Ultimately:
How do we pull traffic from every commercially viable source at an affordable cost and continually move investment towards the activity generating profitable growth?
Meta represents a significant opportunity.
We need someone to take ownership of the analytical and optimisation side, including:
With such a large catalogue, selecting which products should actually go into Meta and how those decisions are tested will be a key challenge.
Go significantly deeper into the performance of Google Shopping, particularly:
A major objective is identifying product cohorts where spend is inefficient and stopping or restructuring that activity.
Analyse existing performance and identify new affiliate opportunities across:
Europe is considered particularly under-optimised and should form part of the opportunity assessment.
This sits at the heart of the role.
We need someone capable of analysing very large product sets and customer data to establish what should be marketed, to whom, through which channel and at what cost.
They may also work with the Data Science team around propensity solutions and additional pricing data, helping determine whether products are commercially viable to promote based on their position versus the market.
Build better visibility around marketing performance so that problems are identified quickly.
For example:
The objective is to identify issues earlier rather than discovering wasted budget retrospectively.
Assess how retail media can connect into broader acquisition activity and identify other commercially viable traffic sources.
There is also interest in emerging channels such as ChatGPT advertising, subject to testing and measurement of incremental value.
We're looking for a senior, highly analytical and genuinely hands-on performance marketing specialist to come into the business and drive a six-month marketing transformation.
