2i is a leading UK tech consultancy focused on quality engineering. We are seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer to define and execute performance testing strategies across complex, cloud-hosted systems.

The role involves hands-on testing, automation, and shaping performance standards within a collaborative engineering team. You will lead performance testing efforts, mentor others, and work with developers, infrastructure teams, and SRE practices.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial experience in performance and non-functional testing.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver performance testing strategies for complex cloud-hosted systems.
• Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and other performance tests.
• Build automated performance testing solutions and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Mentor engineers and testers; contribute to testing standards and practices.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
