Job summary

MCS Group is looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer to support a quality assurance team on a contract basis. This role will focus on assessing application performance under significant volumes of users, transactions and data, helping to identify bottlenecks and ensure systems can perform reliably at scale.

The Role will plan and execute performance and volume testing, work with large datasets to assess system behaviour and performance, identify performance issues and bottlenecks,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in performance testing.
• Strong experience with volume/load testing.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Strong understanding of QA and software testing principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute performance and volume testing.
• Work with large datasets to assess system behaviour and performance.
• Identify performance issues, bottlenecks and potential risks.
• Analyse test results and provide clear recommendations.
