Job summary

GoHenry is seeking a Senior People Partner to own employee relations, performance cycles and talent conversations across the business. You’ll partner with the Head of HR to shape how ER cases are handled, how reviews run, and how talent planning evolves in a fast‑growing fintech used by families.

You will bring around 8 years in HR, deep UK employment law knowledge, and hands‑on experience with HRIS (HiBob) to drive data‑led people decisions and scalable processes across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Around 8 years in HR with hands-on ER experience.
• Experience owning a performance review cycle end to end.
• Exposure to talent processes — succession planning, career frameworks, workforce planning.
• Autonomy with strategic guidance from Head of HR.
• Deep knowledge of UK employment law.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders when needed.
• Experience using HRIS HiBob to analyse trends.
• Proven track record designing and scaling People processes.
• Mentoring junior HR colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ER lifecycle end-to-end with minimal escalation.
• Lead our performance review cycles – timelines, calibration, manager guidance.
• Partner with the Head of HR on talent and career progression.
• Drive absence management framework and identify root causes.
• Coach line managers through difficult conversations and feedback.
• Support organisational change and restructures with HR guidance.
• Design and scale GoHenry’s People playbooks and SOPs.
• Own employee engagement survey design and delivery.
• Use HiBob to analyse absence and engagement trends.
• Contribute to broader People projects across L&D, reward, and culture.
