GoHenry is seeking a Senior People Partner to own employee relations, performance cycles and talent conversations across the business. You’ll partner with the Head of HR to shape how ER cases are handled, how reviews run, and how talent planning evolves in a fast‑growing fintech used by families.
You will bring around 8 years in HR, deep UK employment law knowledge, and hands‑on experience with HRIS (HiBob) to drive data‑led people decisions and scalable processes across the organisation.
GoHenry is the money app giving kids a head start in life as they learn to earn, save, spend and invest – all with parental oversight. Having pioneered a new category in financial education when it launched in 2012, over 2.3 million kids have now learnt money skills with GoHenry.
With the ultimate goal to make every kid smart with money, GoHenry believes the best way to learn is to get hands‑on experience with money.
We are looking for a Senior People Partner to work closely alongside our Head of HR and take real ownership of employee relations, performance, and talent for the business. This is a step up from a supporting role — you’ll be the one shaping how ER, performance cycles, and talent conversations run day to day, with the Head of HR there as a sounding board on the genuinely tricky calls rather than someone signing off every case.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be handed a fully‑formed playbook. A good chunk of our SOPs and manager guidance still need to be written, updated, or simplified, and the same is true of how we run performance and talent processes. This is a role for someone who enjoys building structure, not just working within it — if that sounds like your kind of challenge, you’ll fit right in.
All the essentials you would expect, including a workplace pension plan, 33 days of holiday (including public holidays), and great company events!
We’re on a mission to help every kid be smart with money. Our goal? Create generations of independent, confident young adults, armed with money skills that will set them up for life.
We place the power in the hands of young people, giving them the tools they need to master the financial ropes for themselves. They can spend, save, earn, and give with GoHenry’s prepaid debit card and app – because learning through doing really works (and it’s more fun!). All while our unique built‑in controls give parents total peace of mind.
But we’re still growing, and that’s why we need you.
