Job summary

BrightLocal is a people-first business, prioritising clear purpose, supportive leadership, and collaboration. As Senior People Advisor, you’ll blend employment law expertise with sound judgment to help managers lead fairly and with care, especially in tough situations.

You’ll report to the Head of People Experience on a small team, building relationships with managers across BrightLocal and shaping how we work through AI and changing practices.

Qualifications

• Sound working knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
• A track record of coaching and influencing managers, including senior ones.
• Ability to balance compliance with care in difficult situations.
• Discretion handling confidential and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and teams to provide guidance on people challenges.
• Support day-to-day people issues including performance and change.
• Lead managers through difficult conversations with fairness and care.
• Maintain compliant processes and track changes in employment law.
