We're looking for a Senior Pension Administrator to join our HR Shared Services Team based in Rushden.

Location: Rushden - hybrid working available, with travel to the office required 1-2 days per week

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Pensions Administrator, you'll be working within the HR Shared Services Team, leading and coordinating the delivery of an efficient and effective pension and payroll finance service that is customer-focused and provides value for money. You'll work together and support stakeholders to understand all business requirements in order to advise and support service delivery across the wider team.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Delivering the pension and payroll finance service in accordance with Kier Corporate strategies and policies, ensuring that business requirements are met
  • Ensuring the delivery of a great service in line with contractual commitments and building long-lasting customer relationships
  • Providing appropriate support and working closely with the team to assist in the delivery of service and team outcomes, ensuring there is always a joined-up approach. Attending and taking part in management meetings, contributing new ideas, and resolving potential issues as they arise
  • Being responsible for the development and performance of the Pension and Payroll Finance administrators. Developing skills and knowledge, implementing and regularly reviewing comprehensive and stretching performance targets at a team and individual level, ensuring processes are in place to monitor performance against these targets

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Pensions Administrator is ideal if:

  • You ideally hold a CIPP qualification or possess some formal payroll qualification
  • You have experience in a similar role
  • You have strong knowledge of Defined Contributions, Defined Benefit, and Public Sector (including LGPS and NHS) pension schemes
  • You have an excellent understanding of Auto-Enrolment (including re-enrolment) rules and the Annual & Lifetime Allowance legislation
