Job summary

Referment is working with a UK analytics and actuarial consultancy whose pensions actuarial department advises trustees and sponsors on a wide range of defined benefit issues. The team sits alongside a specialist pension risk transfer practice and is expanding to cover varied client needs.

You’ll split your time between pensions actuarial and pension risk transfer work, with training provided and a flexible split based on strengths.

Qualifications

• Qualified pensions actuary with UK experience.
• Ability to review actuarial valuations and member options calculations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate actuarial calculations with junior colleagues and review the advice.
• Lead on pension risk transfer broking, liaising with insurers and managing projects.
• Work across schemes from small to large and complex, of varying assets.
• Attend industry networking events and collaborate with other teams when needed.
