Job summary

The Actuary Group is seeking talented pensions consultants for a nationwide hybrid appointment within their Risk Transfer team. You will advise on the journey to buy-in, broking the market and winding up schemes, working with trustees and corporates on DB pensions, and managing client relationships from pre-transaction through post-transaction phases.

You will lead on project plans, co-ordinate cross-team activity, and develop budgets for buyout projects.

Responsibilities

• Bulk annuity broking and winding up pension schemes as part of run-off and delivery of service excellence.
• Work in the Risk Transfer team with a focus on post-transaction buyout and wind-up phases.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, lead on relationships, and coordinate all relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and prepare project plans and input into budgets.
• Have knowledge of buyout journey for pensions schemes and key considerations.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and client exposure, with strong project management and organisational abilities.
