Job summary

Pension Insurance Corporation plc is seeking a Senior Pension Operations Analyst to oversee third-party administrators, ensuring high-quality service to policyholders and robust governance across pension operations. You will collaborate with risk, transitions, and finance to implement improvements to processes and technology, while upholding PIC's values.

Qualifications

• Defined benefit pensions administration knowledge and its application.
• Pensions legislation knowledge and its application to administration.
• Experience with complex manual pension calculations.
• Familiar with pensions buy-ins, buy-outs and transitions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Third Party Administrators to ensure policyholders receive exceptional service and KPI performance.
• Collaborate with Third Party Administrators on complex pension calculations and queries.
• Audit pension services processes (increases, DSARs, overpayments) and identify improvements.
• Audit partner process guides to ensure PIC policies and pensions legislation compliance.
• Ensure partner understanding of PIC guidelines and Consumer Duty requirements.
• Attend supplier meetings with Third Party Administrators.
• Support data collation for internal/external audits.
• Support Buy In scheme trustee administration and risk transfer processes.
• Liaise with internal teams (Transitions, Actuarial, Payroll) for trustee service excellence.
• Provide pension technical expertise and interpret rules/legislation.
• Produce MI inputs and management reports.
