Requirements

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
• Completion of an accredited Level 2 Peer Mentor training programme.
• Personal lived experience of mental health difficulties and recovery.
• Completion of a Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and/or advance statement.
• Experience working with individuals with complex needs as a Peer Support Worker.
• Experience supervising or supporting colleagues.
• Experience facilitating training, presentations and group activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and manage challenging situations.
• Ability to recognise risks and seek appropriate supervision.
• Strong teamwork, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Qualification in health and social care.
• Coaching skills training or an accredited coaching qualification.
• Experience in clinical settings, project development, research or service evaluation.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
