Job summary

IC Resources is supporting a leading British semiconductor client in the Northeast of England seeking a Senior PDK Engineer. The role covers the generation of MMIC layout artwork and the development of Process Design Kits (PDKs) from design rules to mask procurement.

The successful candidate will hold a university degree in Electronics/Science/Mathematics and have several years of PDK development experience, with an interest in semiconductor devices and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electronics / Science / Mathematics
• Proven background within PDK development with several years of experience
• Interest in Semiconductor devices to understand design and manufacturing flow
• Excellent team working skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Generate MMIC layout artwork from PDK development to mask set procurement.
• Develop and maintain Process Design Kits including design rules and DRC/LVS decks and parameterised cells
