Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Senior Layout Engineer to join a semiconductor design team in Wiltshire. You will lead block and chip level layout and floorplanning, working closely with analog designers to optimise topology and constraints.

You will manage physical verification, support tapeouts, and contribute to silicon releases across multiple projects while mentoring other engineers and coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience with mixed signal layout and back-end layout flow.
• Ability to lead block and chip level layout and optimise topology.
• Experience collaborating with analog designers and handling constraints.

Responsibilities

• Leading block and chip level layout and floorplanning.
• Collaborating with analog designers on layout topology and constraints.
• Managing physical verification and supporting tapeout activities.
• Contributing to successful silicon releases across projects.
• Supporting CAD tools, PDKs and design rule verification.
• Improving layout processes and methodologies.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers.
• Working with internal teams and external suppliers as needed.
