Job summary

Portfolio Credit Control in Warrington is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join a supportive accountancy team. You will manage weekly and monthly payroll for a varied client portfolio, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

The role requires high-volume payroll handling, auto-enrolment, RTI submissions, and year-end procedures, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to work both in a team and autonomously. Hybrid working and a generous benefits package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive payroll experience and accuracy in processing payrolls
• Experience handling high-volume payrolls and multiple clients
• Familiar with auto enrolment, RTI submissions and year-end procedures
• Excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team while also completing tasks independently
• CIS knowledge is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Perform payroll bureau duties for a portfolio of clients
• Process varied weekly and monthly payrolls with a focus on accuracy
• Handle client payroll queries and liaise with clients
• Contribute to year-end procedures and statutory payments
• Support auto-enrolment and RTI submissions
