Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking a Payroll Senior to join a well-established accountancy firm. The role involves processing varied weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls within a busy bureau, with hybrid work 2 days per week from home.

You will report to the Head of services and manage client queries while ensuring timely payroll delivery. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with auto-enrolment, RTI submissions, and year-end

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll bureau with high-volume multi-payrolls.
• 2 years minimum experience in payroll.
• Familiarity with pensions and auto-enrolment.
• Knowledge of RTI submissions and year-end procedures.
• Excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Handle payroll for a portfolio of clients with high volumes.
• Process varied weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Support auto-enrolment and RTI submissions.
• Address client payroll queries and collaborate with clients.
• Perform year-end procedures and statutory payments.
