Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking a Payroll Senior to join a well-established accountancy firm with a friendly, supportive team. The role is permanent with hybrid working 2 days per week at home, reporting to the Head of services and handling varied weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls.

You will manage high-volume payrolls for diverse clients, ensure timely RTI submissions, auto enrolment, year-end procedures, and respond to client queries.

Qualifications

• Bureau experience.
• Looking for 2 years' experience minimum.
• Pensions & Auto enrolment.
• NEST - ideal.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Strong initiative.
• Autonomy to work alone while enjoying teamwork.
• Excellent Excel.
• Must have exceptional payroll knowledge answering queries.

Responsibilities

• Payroll bureau processing for multiple clients.
• High volume/multiple payrolls across the team.
• Handle high volume of clients split across the team.
• Process varying payrolls and frequencies.
• Experience with Sage 50 or similar desirable.
• Hit the ground running when joining the team.
• Administer auto enrolment and RTI submissions.
• Process statutory payments and year-end procedures.
• Handle client payroll queries and collaborate with clients.
