Job summary

Portfolio Group is seeking a Payroll Senior in Northwich for a permanent, hybrid role with two days working from home. You will oversee timely processing of varied weekly, biweekly and monthly payrolls, while coordinating with clients and colleagues.

The ideal candidate has bureau payroll experience, a minimum of two years in payroll, strong Excel, and solid knowledge of pensions, auto enrolment, and RTI submissions. Sage 50 experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bureau experience with payroll processing.
• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience.
• Strong Excel skills and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Payroll bureau responsibilities.
• Handle high-volume/multiple payrolls.
• Manage a large client base across the team.
• Process varying payroll frequencies (weekly, biweekly, monthly).
• Submit RTI; manage auto enrolment and statutory payments.
• Address client payroll queries and collaborate with clients.
• Perform year-end procedures.
