Job summary

Wade Macdonald is currently working with a well-established business services organisation in Reading, seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to manage a portfolio and deliver end-to-end payroll with accuracy.

You will provide day-to-day support to the team, handle PAYE, RTI, pensions and deductions, and act as a senior point of contact for colleagues on complex payroll queries and escalations, while upholding compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll bureau and end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of PAYE, RTI and pensions.
• Senior presence to support colleagues with escalations.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of end-to-end payroll processing for an allocated portfolio of customers.
• Processing PAYE, statutory payments, starters, leavers, pensions, deductions and attachment of earnings.
• Completing RTI submissions and supporting year-end payroll requirements and statutory documentation.
• Investigating and resolving payroll queries and acting as a senior point of contact for colleagues.
• Providing hands-on daily support to the payroll team and sharing knowledge.
