Job summary

Wade Macdonald is working with a well-established organisation in Oxford, recruiting an experienced Payroll Manager to own the end-to-end payroll function and lead transformation initiatives. The role focuses on accurate payroll delivery, driving process improvements and increasing automation.

You will leverage Workday expertise to optimise payroll processes and reporting, collaborating with HR and Finance to deliver governance and continuous improvements across the payroll function.

Qualifications

• Substantial end-to-end payroll experience.
• Strong track record delivering payroll transformation projects.
• Excellent knowledge of Workday and payroll governance.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the complete end-to-end payroll cycle.
• Lead payroll transformation and process improvement projects.
• Identify opportunities to automate for efficiency and controls.
• Maximise Workday capabilities across payroll processes and reporting.
• Review procedures and implement more effective ways of working.
• Maintain strong payroll governance, controls and compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and stakeholders to deliver improvements.
• Manage payroll-related queries and resolve complex issues.
• Support wider systems, technology and change initiatives affecting payroll.
