Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll for a broad client base from our Southampton office.

You will manage RTI, CIS, year-end returns, auto-enrolment, and payroll outputs while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong client relationships. The role also involves mentoring junior colleagues and staying updated on HMRC legislation and pension auto-enrolment rules.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated end-to-end payroll management experience.
• Proficiency with HMRC legislation, pension auto enrolment, and RTI.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll for a broad client base with accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare RTI, CIS, year-end returns, P11D and Class 1A NIC calculations.
• Oversee payroll outputs: payslips, pension uploads, payment reports.
