Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners are seeking an experienced payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll services for a broad client base in the UK. The role requires proficiency with BrightPay, strong HMRC knowledge, and the ability to handle high-volume data with accuracy.

You will mentor junior colleagues, ensure statutory compliance, and collaborate with the Hub Payroll Manager to implement new systems. Excellent communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll management experience.
• Proficiency with BrightPay or equivalent payroll software.
• Knowledge of HMRC legislation, Auto Enrolment, and statutory requirements.
• Ability to handle high volumes of payroll data and meet deadlines.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire payroll processes for a broad client base with accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and submit RTI, CIS deductions, and year-end returns including P11D and Class 1A NIC.
• Oversee payroll outputs: payslips, pension uploads, payment reports.
• Lead auto-enrolment setup, calculations, and submissions.
• Maintain detailed payroll records with robust audit trails.
• Mentor and review junior team members’ work for quality standards.
• Implement new payroll systems and procedures with the team.
