Job summary

Beta in Belfast is seeking a Payroll & HR Specialist to join an on-site team. You will manage end-to-end payroll for multiple entities, ensure accurate deductions and tax treatment, and support pension auto-enrolment while delivering payroll reports.

The role also covers HR duties such as recruitment coordination and handling employee relations queries, with a focus on delivering excellent service to staff and stakeholders in a local utility environment.

Qualifications

• Five years' demonstrable experience in end-to-end payroll.
• Payroll qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Knowledge of HMRC payrolling rules and auto-enrolment.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end monthly payroll for all group entities using PayCircle (Access UK).
• Ensure accurate processing of PAYE, NI, pensions, student loans and other deductions.
• Prepare and process holiday pay in line with entitlements.
• Administer auto-enrolment pension duties and liaise with pension provider.
• Prepare payroll-related reports and support year-end processes.
