Job summary

MHR is seeking a senior payroll professional to lead the Managed Payroll function, overseeing day-to-day payroll activities and ensuring accurate, on-time processing. You will coach Analysts, manage escalations, and onboard new starters while maintaining strong customer relationships.

You’ll strengthen payroll expertise, ensure GDPR compliance, and drive improvements in service delivery and client satisfaction within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering payroll in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coaching Analysts and leading a payroll team.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with payroll legislation (GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily payroll activities and ensure on-time processing.
• Sign off payrolls and manage BACS transmissions.
• Coach Analysts and handle escalations; onboarding new starters.
• Engage with customers and improve service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and payroll legislation.
