Job summary

MHR is seeking a payroll leader to oversee daily payroll operations within a fast-paced environment. You will manage a dedicated payroll team, coach staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, compliant payroll services.

You will drive performance, implement development plans, and support transformation initiatives across systems and processes while ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and continuous service improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong people management and coaching skills with a focus on development.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and manage cross-functional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of payroll operations and ensure SLAs are met.
• Lead and develop the payroll team, manage performance reviews and onboarding.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development plans for staff.
• Drive transformation initiatives and adopt new systems/processes.
• Plan resources, monitor workload, and ensure regulatory compliance.
