Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations and ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. The role is responsible for maintaining payroll data, preparing payroll submissions and reports, assisting with compliance activities, and providing payroll-related support to employees and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve routine payroll issues independently.

Responsibilities
  • Validating, inputting, and maintaining payroll data to support accurate payroll processing.
  • Preparing payroll for bank submission and entry into financial systems.
  • Processing manual payments when required.
  • Preparing payroll reports and reconciliations.
  • Maintaining payroll documentation and records management systems.
  • Supporting payroll reporting, analytics, and data collection activities.
  • Responding to payroll-related inquiries and providing guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with audits, tax-related payroll activities, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensuring payroll activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and service partners.
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
  • Maintaining knowledge of payroll regulations, technology, and industry best practices through ongoing development.
Requirements

  • Experience supporting audits and payroll-related tax activities preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
