Job summary

BrightHR is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator in Manchester to manage end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients. You will ensure accurate processing, timely submissions, and clear client communication while upholding confidentiality.

You will leverage your 5+ years in a bureau environment and CIPP qualification to navigate UK payroll legislation and use BrightHR systems efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.

Qualifications

  • UK payroll legislation and tax regulations knowledge required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ service in a bureau environment.
  • Excellent IT skills, with the ability to adapt to new HR and Payroll systems (e.g., MS Excel).

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end processing of complex client payrolls.
  • Input payroll data into BrightHR system and generate reports.
  • Process PAYE, National Insurance and pension deductions.
  • Handle FPS and EPS submissions and P11Ds where needed.
  • Act as escalation point for complex payroll queries and train the Payroll Admin team.

Salary: Salary up to £38,000 • Location: ManchesterSenior Payroll AdministratorSalary up to £38,000LocationManchesterPurposeThe business now seeks a Senior Payroll Administrator who will process all aspects of payroll for their portfolio of clients, ensuring a seamless journey for the customer.Reports toOutsourced Payroll Service ManagerHours of workMonday – Friday 8:30am – 5pmDay-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:As the Senior Payroll Administrator, you will take ownership of and be responsible for the end-to-end processing of complex client payrolls under your purview.
