Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is helping a reputable firm of accountants in Horndean, Hampshire to recruit a Payroll Administrator / Senior Payroll Administrator. You will manage detailed payroll calculations for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring HMRC and CIS compliance.

The role involves supporting the team with payroll queries, using Brightpay or similar software, and contributing to process improvements. It is an office-based role with opportunities for career progression and training.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing payroll functions, ideally within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau.
  • Strong understanding of HMRC compliance, CIS schemes, and payroll legislation.
  • Proficiency in BrightPay payroll software or similar systems.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development and technical excellence.
