Job summary

EvonSys is seeking an experienced Payments Business Analyst / Payments Specialist to support banking and financial services clients across payments transformation and technology initiatives in the UK. You will bridge business and technology, define requirements, and help delivery teams succeed.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in Payments Operations or Payments BA, strong analysis, client-facing consulting experience, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Banking, Financial Services or Financial Services Consulting.
• Significant Payments Operations and/or Payments Business Analysis experience.
• Experience delivering payments-related technology or transformation programs.
• Experience working directly with banking or financial services clients.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze payment processes, business requirements and operational needs across client engagements.
• Lead requirements gathering, business process analysis and functional analysis.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and actionable requirements for technology teams.
• Work with clients, architects, developers, testers and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze domestic and cross-border payment flows, processes and messaging.
• Support payment transformation, modernization and industry-driven change programs.
• Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Support UAT, implementation and production readiness activities.
• Provide payments subject-matter expertise to project and client teams.
• Contribute to solution discussions and pre-sales activities where required.
