Job summary

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is recruiting for a Senior Payments Supervisor in the Market Interventions - Payments team. The role sits within the Payments and Digital Assets directorate and focuses on supervising payment firms, assessing compliance, and driving regulatory standards in payments and crypto asset sectors.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience analysing complex information and making risk-based judgements.
• Demonstrable experience building and managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing a varied, high volume workload in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Getting to understand how regulated firms make their money and assess risks to customers and markets.
• Assessing regulated firms' compliance against relevant rules.
• Working with senior industry figures to enforce rules and, if needed, take regulatory action.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the FCA and with other regulators and law enforcement.
