Job summary

Financial Conduct Authority is seeking an expert in risk management for payments firms and digital assets. You will join the Risk team within the Cross Cutting Delivery Department to report to committees, gather insights across PDA/PSR, and support supervision and policy with strong data analysis and stakeholder management.

You will work with senior audiences, distil complex risks into actionable insights, and help shape sector-wide risk strategies in a collaborative, evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of effective stakeholder management and building and sustaining strong relationships across multiple engagement channels.
• Demonstrable knowledge of UK financial services regulation.
• Demonstrable expertise in risk analysis and understanding of the payments landscape.
• Experience working across teams to deliver shared outcomes and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical skills to analyse large volumes of data and draw concise conclusions, using data tools and AI where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Report into relevant committees and be a main point of contact with the risk team.
• Identify and prioritise cross-cutting risks across payments and digital assets.
• Monitor and report risk mitigations to leadership with clear actions.
• Distil insights from across portfolios to inform governance and strategy.
