Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Pathology IT Senior Biomedical Scientist to support the Pathology department with business as usual and project workloads. The role is initially a 23-month fixed-term to facilitate the WinPath Enterprise LIMS implementation and related digital pathology projects.

You will contribute to IT projects across Pathology, support quality and governance, and work across sites, including potential weekend work for system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Hold a BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science.
• Desirable MSc or specialist portfolio.
• Minimum 5 years in a Biomedical Science role.
• Experience IT projects in Pathology environments.

Responsibilities

• Support Pathology department in BAU and project workloads.
• Manage WinPath Enterprise LIMS implementation.
• Collaborate on digital pathology projects.
• Ensure IT initiatives align with NHS standards.
